SUPPLEMENTS & NUTRACEUTICALS
Global demand for nutraceuticals continues to expand, and exports of dietary supplements from Vietnam are increasingly recognized in the B2B sector. Official trade records indicate that 91 export shipments of dietary supplements were recorded over a recent 12-month period, though this reflected a 47 % decline compared to the previous year. At the same time, the domestic supplement market reached a value of USD 889.4 million in 2024, with forecasts projecting compound annual growth of 11.1 % through 2030.
Exporters typically highlight compliance with GMP, ISO, and HACCP standards, alongside ingredient traceability and regulatory approval across international markets. Major destinations include East Asia, North America, and Europe, where demand is driven by clean label formulations, natural extracts, and transparent supply chains. This dual growth—domestic expansion and international trade—positions Vietnam as a competitive sourcing hub for private-label manufacturing, contract production, and tailored nutraceutical solutions.
